Jean Lang (1857-1932) was a Scottish writer and folklorist. She was interested in ancient mythology and its origins. In her opinion the mythology of the West resembled that of the East as they had the same root: the ancient people of the West and of the East saw and met similar phenomena.
'A Man Hunt in 1813' is a short story by Jean Lang that was included in the collection book 'From The Border Marches'. It tells us a story of a laird who arranges a pursuit of a robber. Will the robber be punished? Read this story and soak up the atmosphere of the good old Scotland.
