Contained within this book are listening exercises relating to six different orchestral works: Ravel’s Bolero, Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique, Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony, Debussy’s Prelude a l’apres midi d’un Faun, Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring and Elgar’s Enigma Variations. The exercises are designed to be used by classes of Key Stage 2 & 3 aged children, but work equally well at home.
